pot of water about to simmer, energetic ripples start to bubble

I'm personally most motivated at this time to make art work that:  addresses social change topics directly (not tangentially), has some audience participatory element, and isn't just solo authored but built with collaboration.

I also have a fiction novelette writing project that will be solo authored (simmering on back burner for now).  Even that, when published having an audience participatory element will be important, of public talks discussing the topics in the text (including poverty, immigration policy, mental illness, etc), and workshops prompting people's responsive writing, and plotting policy and cultural practices to relieve oppressions experienced by the characters.  In theatre this approach of interest for me is called "applied" theatre, e.g. exploring a body of work's applications for change in real world contexts.
